Nrep invests in property targeted at young tenants on Islands Brygge
• The investment is via the NIP fund in a property located close to Copenhagen University and the IT University and comprises 390 residential units.
• The apartments will be offered through Nrep’s rental platform Juli Living and are targeted at young students and professionals.
• The investment strengthens Nrep’s strategy of offering sustainable and flexible housing in urban areas.
Urban Partners has through its real estate strategy team Nrep and via the NIP fund acquired a modern residential building with 390 residential units in Islands Brygge in Copenhagen from Nuveen Real Estate. The property is located close to both the University of Copenhagen, the IT University and metro connections, and will be let through Nrep’s own platform, Juli Living.

The property which is located on Njalsgade 151 was built in 2021 and has achieved DGNB Silver certification and energy rating A2015. The apartments, which average 36 m² in size, are offered furnished and include access to facilities such as study rooms, a fitness area and a roof terrace. In addition, the building has 600 m² of commercial space on the ground floor.

Therefore, having completed on the business plan for the asset, taking it from development to operational, it was good timing for us to complete a sale, to recycle the capital into new interesting investment opportunities.”
